A well-established company in the building & home improvement manufacturing sector is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Junior Cost Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their career within a fast‑paced production environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with product costing, bill of materials, and cost variance analysis Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports Support month‑end processes (reconciliations & journals) Analyze actual vs. budgeted costs and report on variances Liaise with customers regarding pricing and orders Collaborate with cross-functional management teams Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies Minimum Requirements: BCom in Accounting / Management Accounting (or similar) 1–3 years’ experience in a cost or management accounting role Manufacturing experience (advantageous) Proficiency in Sage accounting software Strong Microsoft Excel skills (intermediate to advanced) Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team What’s in it for you?
