This role will suit a seasoned retail sales professional , who wants to achieve new highs in thiscompetitive and challenging profession! The successful candidate MUST have proven sales track record, clear criminal and credit history, as this position will involve dealing with large amounts of money. The ideal candidate must have own transport and will be required to visit clients from time to time. The fuel will be reimbursed by the employer. This role will commence as a three-months fixed-term contract, and will become permanent on successful completion of the initial3-month fixed-term contract. Permanent employment to be considered upon successful completion of the fixed-term period. Duties & Responsibilities The Consultant will be based in the showroom and be required to work as part of the showroom team to assist in closing deals with clients coming into the showroom to purchase tiles, taps, sanitaryware, accessories etc. for new projects or renovations The company representinga luxury brand with a showroom environment that is high-end and clientele requiring service par excellence and consultants fairly often going the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction and brand integrity. Showroom consultants must have a flair for design and be able to work on large domestic projects where plans of buildings will be measured and quantities of products calculated during the quoting and invoicing process. There may be telephonic canvassing involved within the showroom sales as well by contacting professionals in the industry to solicit business for the showroom As part of the showroom team, maintenance of the showroom with regards to general tidiness, the putting up of new displays and pricing and other POS material will form part of this position Internal sales role based within Pretoria showroom environment. Consultant will be responsible for engaging with walk-in clients, understanding their needs, and providing product guidance and solutions across all ranges. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, sales ability, and attention to detail in processing orders and quotations. Desired Experience & Qualification A history of Excellent customer service is mandatory Proven ability to meet set monthly sales targets consistently The ability to work in both a team environment and individually Previous retail or internal sales experience (preferably in a showroom or similar environment) Strong customer engagement and closing skills Administrative accuracy and ability to manage quotations and orders A proactive and target-driven mindset The ability to work in a fast pace, high pressure environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills SAP and Microsoft Office - desirable Sound Arithmetic skills A flair for Design and Creativity Excellent interpersonal skills Own Transport with a valid driver’s license The minimum educational requirement is Matric with Mathematics and Accounting on Standard Grade Ability to multitask and meet deadlines for showroom tasks Package & Remuneration R11-R16K negotiable, depending on relevancy of your experience and ability to sell!
