The Management Accountant leads the forecasting and analysis of management accounts, delivering high-quality financial insights to support business growth Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and updating monthly financial forecasts Conducting financial analysis Preparing half-year and year-end reporting packs Liaising with auditors during key reporting periods Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and strategy packs Preparing monthly management accounts Performing financial forecasting and report writing Assisting with ad hoc projects where Finance input is required Qualifications Qualifications, experience, and technical skills Qualified and registered CA(SA) Exposure to the Retail and FMCG industries during or post articles is advantageous but not essential Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel Attributes Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take initiative Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong deadline orientation with the ability to prioritise effectively High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail Displays strong learning agility and leadership potential, with the ability to progress from entry-level to senior leadership over time Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Effective stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interact confidently across the wider business Mr Price is an equal opportunity employer committed to employment equity #J-18808-Ljbffr
