A growing investment and acquisitions group is looking to appoint a hands‑on Accountant to support the financial and administrative functions across multiple companies within the group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business in an expansion phase, where the successful candidate will work closely with the Group CFO and gain exposure to multiple entities and business operations. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full accounting function across multiple companies General ledger management, journals, reconciliations, trial balance, and month‑end processes Prepare monthly management accounts and annual review files Assist with budgeting and variance analysis Prepare VAT and income tax submissions Support external audits and assist with audit queries Improve financial processes and maintain strong internal controls Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders Requirements: BCom Accounting qualification SAIPA or similar qualification advantageous Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience working on Xero Strong administrative and organisational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines High attention to detail and accuracy Professional, reliable, and proactive approach Additional Information: Remote‑based role Weekly in-person meetings in Somerset West or Constantia Permanent opportunity Start date: As soon as possible If you are looking for an opportunity where you can grow alongside a dynamic and expanding group of companies, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
