We're looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented professional to join a growing remote-first accounting firm that works with a diverse portfolio of clients from start ups to scale-ups across the UK.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a modern, forward-thinking team that leverages cloud-based tools and streamlined workflows to deliver high-quality bookkeeping and advisory services.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for a portfolio of UK-based clients Process and manage payroll across multiple accounts, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations Prepare and reconcile monthly accounts using QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel Assist in client financial due diligence and data preparation for mergers and acquisitions Collaborate with accountants and advisors on tax filings, management accounts, and year-end reporting Track workflows and deadlines using Karbon (or similar project management tools) Prepare financial summaries and reports for client meetings Provide day-to-day bookkeeping support and respond to client queries Ensure compliance with internal processes and external financial regulations Requirements3+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role (preferably within an accountancy practice) Strong working knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation Exposure to M&A transactions or experience supporting financial due diligence (advantageous) Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Karbon or similar workflow/project management tools High level of accuracy, organisation, and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts remotely Excellent communication skills and a proactive, client-first mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr
