Professor / Associate Professor - (Grade: P/AP) Department of Ichthyology and Fisheries Science Main Objectives As an academic, you will disseminate knowledge through teaching and learning, create new knowledge through research, and engage with the community. You will also take on administrative, management, and leadership duties at departmental, faculty, and university levels, and contribute to governance. Requirements Associate Professor At least a PhD in Fisheries Science or Aquaculture, or a related field with a strong focus on Aquaculture. Considerable teaching experience in Aquaculture at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Experience in teaching topics related to Aquaculture, for example, sustainable aquaculture, ecosystems-based aquaculture, aquaculture systems, fish health and nutrition. Research supervision of Master's and PhD degrees to completion. National and emerging international profile in the discipline. Track record of research publications and evidence of attracting funding. Track record of administration, management, and/or leadership roles.
