Responsibilities Operate and maintain all lighting equipment for entertainment shows and events on board the ship Program and execute lighting cues for various performances, ensuring a high level of technical precision and creativity Collaborate with the entertainment team to create visually stunning and cohesive shows Troubleshoot any technical issues with lighting equipment and work with the technical team to resolve them Keep inventory of all lighting equipment and report any maintenance needs to the technical department Ensure all safety protocols are followed during performances and rehearsals Stay up-to-date with new lighting technology and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our shows Assist with other technical duties as needed, such as sound and video operation Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience as a light operator in a live entertainment setting Knowledge of lighting equipment, programming, and design Proficiency in lighting software such as GrandMA, ETC, or Avolites Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test Experience working on a cruise ship or in a similar environment is a plus Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to travel and work in a unique and exciting environment Professional development and training opportunities Room for growth and advancement within the company #J-18808-Ljbffr
