Location and Working Arrangements Cape Town Hybrid Role Summary The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the exhibitor sales teams for This is Beyond events. Responsibilities include administrative support across multiple events, managing core administrative functions, analyzing sales reports to provide insights, and ensuring operational excellence across up to three shows. The role also contributes to on-site coordination to support smooth event execution. Key Responsibilities Data-driven decision-making: analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance team strategies. Process optimization: ensure accuracy and efficiency in application processing, lead generation, and administrative tasks; identify areas for improvement. Seamless event execution: assist with live event coordination, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high-quality exhibitor experience. Cross-team collaboration: work with sales, marketing, operations, and creative teams to align strategies and improve event outcomes. Customer and stakeholder support: act as a point of contact for exhibitors, providing pre-event, on-site, and post-event service. Proactive problem-solving: identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions; maintain composure in high-pressure environments. On-site coordination: support logistics, activation scheduling, and overall event flow; maintain master planning documents and inform stakeholders of changes or risks. Exhibitor liaison: coordinate with exhibitors pre-event and on-site to ensure seamless participation and issue resolution. Administrative support for marketing: assist with sales materials, brochures, exhibitor guides, and alignment with event timelines. Sales data and reporting: produce and communicate accurate weekly sales reports; monitor sales metrics to provide insights. Technical Skills Sales Support : manage and analyze sales data; oversee processing of exhibitor applications; contribute to sales strategy with insights; assist with local and international sales planning; refine lead generation methods. Live Event Coordination : actively coordinate on-site logistics, maintain accuracy of planning documents, liaise with exhibitors, support on-site activation and event flow. Marketing & Cross-Team Collaboration : provide administrative support to marketing; ensure alignment of materials with event timelines; coordinate with CRM, Marketing and Operations to plan events; assist with smaller networking events and promotional activities. Results and Performance Maintain accuracy and efficiency in sales and appointment systems and event administration. Identify and propose improvements to sales processes. Support delivery of high-quality events through strong on-site coordination. Collaborate with CRM, marketing, finance and event operations to align efforts.
