Location Secunda, Mpumalanga Purpose of Job To perform and/or implement a variety of warehouse administrative processes and tasks to ensure warehouse activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis. Key Accountabilities Perform effective of day-to-day operations including receiving, binning, compliant stacking and storage practices, picking and issuing. Execute SAP transactions with regards to Warehouse related activities timeously and accurately. Ensure stock accuracy through disciplined execution of Inbound Logistics work instructions. Conduct periodical and perpetual stock counts. Ensure corrective actions are taken for deviations found regarding materials, storage practices or preservation. Maintain the required Inbound Logistics standard through disciplined execution by adhering to the SWIs. Perform activities of warehouse activities in accordance with the Governance and Compliance Framework through execution of internal management controls, SOX controls, document controls and any other controls required towards assurance of legal compliance. Perform all other Warehouse activities as required which includes, housekeeping, painting and selected hand-tool utilisation. Identify and report all defects, hazards and risks to mitigate safety related incidents. Basic plant knowledge including (tank line ups, tank dipping and hose handling).
