Job Title Field Facilitator (12 hours per week) (Contract appointment: 10 months) – Department of Social Work (Job ID: 6479) Location Bloemfontein Campus – Bloemfontein, FS ZA (Primary) Closing Date 14 June 2026 Responsibilities Facilitate skills training for assigned small groups (between 15 and 20 students). Prepare thoroughly for group facilitation sessions in line with the year group study guide. Mark designated assignments, including oral assessments and specific reports (excluding fieldwork process reports for certain year groups). Maintain complete and accurate assessment records for each student’s performance. Organise and facilitate oral assessments for assigned groups. Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions with the Field Instruction Coordinator and the Department. Qualifications Bachelor of Social Sciences on NQF Level 8. Active registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Worker (attach proof). Minimum of three (3) years of working experience as a Social Worker. Proficiency in social work supervision models (e.g., Process Model, Developmental Perspective). Proven ability to assist during normal working hours. Relevant permission from the current employer/HOD to conduct additional work (attach proof). Compensation Remuneration: R per month (no other benefits).
