The roles require strong operational ability, attention to detail, and a genuine love for hospitality and guiding.Role 1: FOHCandidate Responsibilities:Responsible for managing guest bookings and delivering a welcoming front-of-house experience Handling reservations (phone, email, and online platforms) Coordinating guest arrivals and departures Maintaining accurate booking records Liaising with housekeeping and operations to ensure seamless stays Greets guest, provide information about lodge facilities and activities, and address guest queries or concerns professionally Requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude Core Criteria:Previous experience in a similar FOH or lodge based role Strong guest relations and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Good computer literacy Hands-on approach and ability to work in a small team environment Role 2: GuideCandidate Responsibilities:Conduct game drives and guided bush walks Host guests and ensure a high level of interpretive guiding and engagement Maintain guiding equipment and vehicles Assist with general lodge maintenance where required Ensure guest safety and adherence to reserve protocols Core Criteria:FGASA Level 1 or 2 (minimum) Valid PDP First Aid certification Rifle competency and advanced rifle handling Strong hosting and guest interaction skills Basic vehicle and camp maintenance knowledge Package:Market-related salary (negotiable based on experience and qualifications) Live-in position with accommodation provided for the couple Meals provided while on duty
