Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing staff and caregivers Ensure high standards of patient care and resident wellbeing are maintained Administer medication and oversee treatment plans where required Monitor residents health conditions and respond to medical emergencies Assist with staff scheduling, handovers, and shift coordination Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation Support and guide junior nursing staff and caregivers Liaise with doctors, families, and multidisciplinary teams regarding resident care Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control, and facility procedures Requirements: Registered Nurse qualification with valid SANC registration Previous experience in a supervisory or Charge Nurse role Experience within aged care, frail care, or a retirement estate environment advantageous Strong leadership and team management skills Fluent in Afrikaans and English Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Compassionate and professional approach to elderly care Willingness to work shifts and weekends if required
