Job Description We are looking for a Senior Storage Specialist within the Enterprise environment. The role involves maintaining Storage, SAN, and Compute hardware by providing OEM good practice through the design, implementation, and deployment of shared system resources, such as disks and networking. Responsibilities include performance analysis, troubleshooting, data recovery strategies for critical systems, and data backup measures. Key Responsibilities Maintain all current IT Infrastructure and Data Centers Maintain all IT DR policies, procedures, and strategies Create and maintain capacity strategies for IT Enterprise hardware SLA Management for Data Center Services Infrastructure Availability Reporting Assist with Value Added Services Recommendations and implementation of actions for continuous improvement Ad-hoc projects within the defined scope of the supported products Identification of innovative ideas to improve service delivery Client interaction, advising on best practices Sound knowledge of Design and Maintenance for Storage, Server, Backups, and Operating Systems SAN – Physical and Fabrics (Director Class, Blade Chassis switches) Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Undergraduate degree/diploma in IT or currently working towards completing a Degree/Diploma in IT Various hardware vendor experience and certifications ITIL certification A+ and N+ Certification 5+ years’ experience in an Enterprise IT Environment Experience managing HPE 3PAR StoreServ and MSA Storage Solutions Brocade SAN Enterprise experience Technical lead for Plan, Build, and Operate Experience managing 15 Petabytes Ticket management and Design Documentation Package & Remuneration Salary Market Related #J-18808-Ljbffr
