Our client, a specialist neurosurgery practice based in Rustenburg, is seeking to recruit a full-time Clinical Associate (BCMP qualified). The successful candidate will support the neurosurgeon in delivering high-quality, patient-centred clinical care, including patient assessment, treatment support, and ongoing management within a busy private practice environment. Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to): Assist with obtaining patient history and identifying patient needs Support and oversee day-to-day clinical tasks within the practice Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions Provide patient education, counselling, and ongoing support Facilitate appropriate referrals and prepare referral feedback Assist with the implementation and monitoring of treatment plans Accurately capture patient information, clinical notes, and treatment plans Interpret results from diagnostic and special investigations Utilise relevant diagnostic tools effectively within scope of practice Prescribe medication within scope of practice and regulatory guidelines Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP) Active registration with the HPCSA 2–3 years' experience in a private healthcare setting Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of patient care processes Ability to work in a specialist, high-pressure environment Skills and Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional and patient-focused approach Empathetic and caring nature Ability to work under pressure and manage a demanding workload High attention to detail and clinical accuracy Well-presented and professional Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Work Hours: Monday to Friday Overtime as and when required.
