What We’re Looking For: Grade 12 (Matric) A minimum of a National diploma in Sales or Environmental Health or related field is advantageous Registered with the Department of Agriculture as a Pest Control Operator is preferred Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in the pest control industry Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Proficient in Microsoft suite Must have own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence Willingness to travel extensively within the Western Cape Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the pest control portfolio within the Hygiene division. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through cold-calling, networking, referrals, and market intelligence. Conduct site assessments to understand client needs and propose tailored pest control solutions. Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals aligned to client needs and compliance standards. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as agreed with the Sales Manager. Maintain a solid understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and technical aspects of pest control services. Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure retention and growth. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure service excellence and a seamless client experience. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform product positioning and strategic decisions. Submit accurate reports, forecasts, and sales documentation in a timely manner.
