We're Hiring: Software Tester (Manual – POS) | Join SQ72 SQ72 is looking for an experienced Software Tester with a strong Point of Sale (POS) testing background to join our growing team. As a Software Tester at SQ72, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our POS and related software solutions. You'll work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to design, execute, and document test cases across a range of projects. Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for POS systems Test end-to-end transaction flows, payment integrations, and reconciliation processes Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing Contribute to test strategy, planning, and continuous improvement Produce clear, detailed test documentation and reports Qualifications Minimum 4 years of hands‑on software testing experience Proven experience testing Point of Sale (POS) systems Bachelor's degree (IT, Computer Science, or related field) ISTQB Foundation Level certification (essential) Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and SDLC Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Finance / financial services background or domain knowledge Test automation experience (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps) Join a team that values quality, growth, and innovation.
