Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Technical Support Technician with strong experience across Microsoft environments, networking, and client support. This is a client-facing role requiring both onsite and remote support capabilities, based in Alberton. Minimum Requirements:Minimum 5+ years’ experience in IT Technical Support (MSP experience advantageous)Strong experience in Microsoft 365 administrationSolid knowledge of:Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group PolicyStrong networking knowledge:Switching (VLANs, trunking, STP)Routing (NAT, static routes, basic routing concepts)Firewall exposure (Fortigate, Sophos, MikroTik advantageous)Additional Experience (Highly Recommended):Microsoft 365 Advanced:Exchange Online (mail flow, SPF/DKIM/DMARC)SharePoint & OneDrive administrationTeams support and troubleshootingAzure / Entra ID:Azure AD Connect, MFA, Conditional AccessVirtualization:Hyper-V and/or VMwareBackup Solutions:Veeam / Acronis / cloud backupsNetworking (Practical):VPN setup (IPSec, SSL VPN)WAN troubleshooting (PPPoE, fibre, LTE failover)VoIP (Advantage):Yeastar / 3CX / SIP troubleshootingSecurity:Endpoint protection and basic firewall policiesRMM & Ticketing Systems:Experience with tools like NinjaOne, Datto, Zoho Desk, etc. Key Responsibilities:Provide remote and onsite support to clientsTroubleshoot:Microsoft 365 issuesServer & Active Directory issuesNetwork and connectivity problemsConfigure and maintain:Servers and domain environmentsNetwork infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)Manage user environments, permissions, and securityPerform installations, upgrades, and migrationsWork within SLA-driven support environments Other Requirements:Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicleStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood communication skills (client-facing role)Ability to work independently and under pressure Ideal Candidate Profile:Hands-on and technically strongComfortable working in a fast-paced support environmentStrong in both Microsoft and networkingAble to troubleshoot and resolve issues without constant supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
