Role Overview The B2B Sales Representative – SME Forex is a fixed-term contract position responsible for driving business-to-business client acquisition, platform adoption, and active usage of the SME Forex platform. The role focuses on identifying prospective SME clients, qualifying commercial opportunities, conducting screen-share demonstrations, supporting onboarding, and maintaining disciplined sales pipeline activity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field Experience At least 1–2 years’ relevant experience in one or more of the following: B2B sales, business development, or client acquisition Commercial, SME, banking, treasury, FX, fintech, or financial services environments SaaS sales, technology-enabled sales, or platform-based client engagement Client-facing roles involving prospecting, lead qualification, follow-up, objection handling, and conversion Experience engaging with SME or commercial clients is advantageous Comfortable operating in a target-driven, commission-weighted sales environment Core Responsibilities Client Acquisition & Business Development Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective SME Forex clients through networking, referrals, outreach, and relationship-driven sales activity. Identify and qualify businesses with foreign exchange, cross-border payment, import, or export-related needs. Conduct SME Forex platform demonstrations and present solutions in a clear, consultative, and commercially relevant manner. Drive client acquisition and conversion in line with agreed sales expectations and commission-based earning potential. Client Enablement & Relationship Management Guide clients through registration, documentation, onboarding, platform access, and usage requirements. Support newly onboarded clients to encourage platform adoption and continued usage. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline activity, onboarding progress, and commercial opportunities. Sales Execution & Pipeline Management Manage daily and weekly sales activity with discipline, urgency, and consistency. Prioritise prospects based on client need, likelihood of conversion, and commercial value. Track leads, demonstrations, follow-ups, and conversion progress accurately. Provide regular updates to management on pipeline status, sales activity, client feedback, and barriers to conversion. Stakeholder Collaboration Work independently while following the strategic sales playbook and approved internal processes. Collaborate with internal teams to support onboarding, platform access, technical queries, and service delivery. Escalate complex client queries or issues to the appropriate internal stakeholders. Share client feedback to help refine the sales approach, platform positioning, and client experience. Compliance & Professional Standards Ensure all client engagement is professional, ethical, accurate, and aligned with approved messaging. Handle client information responsibly and maintain confidentiality. Avoid overpromising platform capabilities or giving advice outside the scope of the role.
