There is a position available for an experienced Procurement Specialist in the Sandton area. The Procurement Specialist in Logistics is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement processes within the logistics department. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services critical to the efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain functions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and the Procurement Manager to ensure the timely delivery of quality products and services while maintaining cost efficiency. Qualifications Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations. Familiarity with procurement software and tools. Certification in procurement or supply chain management. Experience with international procurement and global supply chains. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the logistics industry. Mandarin speakers will receive preference.
