Minimum requirements for the role: Must ideally have a tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Logistics or Administration Minimum 3 years' work experience Excellent planning and organizational skills Previous experience in imports or exports would be advantageous Attention to detail and accuracy is critical Previous experience within the seed industry would be nice to have but is not critical Good communication skills in English are essential General computer skills as well as Excel would be an advantage Previous experience within an international company would be preferred Experience with digital communication tools is advantageous Must be willing to contribute to digital transformation The successful candidate will be responsible for: Ensuring that seeds are available on time, in the right quantity and quality in accordance with planning. Taking care of forecast and sales planning and providing insights into key planning KPIs such as Mind the Gap, destruction lists, and turnover loss. Being in charge of the import (and export) of seeds for both commercial and breeding purposes. Taking care of all documentation required for import. Following up on changes in import (and export) and phytosanitary regulations. Informing Sales Representatives, Crop Specialists, and Account Managers about availability and pending orders, and sharing with Specialist Customer Service where applicable. Confirming receipt of trial seeds and managing the distribution of seeds per Sales Representative. Managing quality information of received batches and taking actions such as arranging tests when needed. Maintaining the Virtual Warehouse. Processing authorization for protocols of goods to be locally destroyed and launching credit note requests in coordination with the local Controller.
