The Impact You’ll Make You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end lifecycle of wireless connectivity, ensuring our backhaul infrastructure is robust, scalable, and high‑performing. Network Design & Optimization: Design and maintain PTP and PTMP links across a variety of spectrum bands (5 GHz to 80 GHz+ microwave). RF Analysis: Perform link budget calculations, propagation modelling, and fade margin assessments. Infrastructure Planning: Deploy backhaul solutions (microwave and fiber‑fed radios) targeting 99.9% uptime. Field & Tool Expertise: Conduct LOS assessments and site surveys using tools like Pathloss, Google Earth Pro, and Ubiquiti Link Planner. Performance Monitoring: Proactively manage network health via SNMP‑based platforms (The Dude, Zabbix, NetXMS) and mitigate interference. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations strictly align with ICASA regulations, licensing, and safety standards. Requirements What You Bring Technical Proficiency: Strong background in RF system analysis and spectrum management.
