Our client is looking for a commercially sharp, relationship-first Internal Account Manager Technical / Industrial products to take ownership of a national customer portfolio in the components and manufacturing sector. This is a farming-focused role — your success is measured by the depth of relationships you build and the sustainable revenue growth you unlock within an existing account base, not by net-new hunting. Non-negotiable requirements South African citizen Bachelor's degree (non-negotiable — no equivalent will be considered) 4 – 6 years of B2B sales or account management experience Proven background in a Technical or Electrical environment Demonstrated account farming and customer retention track record Own reliable transport and valid driver's licence Grade 12 Strong advantages Exposure to a wide product base within components or manufacturing SAP CRM experience Commercial or technical tertiary qualification Skills & competencies Strong business and commercial acumen with confidence in financial calculations Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills Technical aptitude with an interest in new technologies Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Key responsibilities Own and grow a portfolio of key national accounts through consultative, value-led selling. Develop and execute quarterly account plans that deliver against sales and margin targets. Build trusted relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders at all levels. Conduct ongoing customer research to identify white-space opportunities and shape activity plans. Support marketing initiatives and contribute to strategic supplier partnerships.
