Job Title Account Manager (Sales) – Corporate Sector (Gauteng) Key Performance Areas Market the Company, its Products, Solutions, and continuously improve the Client’s perception of the Company. Responsibilities Have a good understanding of client organisational structure, environment, decision‑making process, KPIs, projects, strategic direction, and procurement cycles; understand the competitive landscape. Provide continuous product and solutions updates to clients. Day‑to‑day manage current clients and generate new business. Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. Maintain and grow market share within the Corporate Sector. Provide weekly feedback on pipelines and quotations, and strategic initiatives for projects. Conduct and submit monthly sales forecasting. Update sales tools and relevant systems, including the Customer Information Sheet. Make client calls and physical visits – all clients at least once every two weeks, with a minimum of 12 client visits per week. Conduct telephonic calls for all clients at least once a week and perform daily call planning on all allocated accounts. Prepare and provide clients with quotations on request. Follow up on quotations bi‑monthly. Ensure clients are updated on deliveries and order progress as and when needed. Perform deliveries when required. Provide after‑sales support to clients. Follow up on invoices and payments. Attend weekly debtors’ meetings. Attend product training sessions. Ensure internal training is up to date on a quarterly basis. Attend sales meetings and marketing events. Assist with tender submissions when required. Respond to ad‑hoc requests as needed. Minimum Requirements Senior Certificate (essential). Relevant qualification (preferred). Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in a senior sales position within the Corporate Sector. Technical knowledge of products including VOIP, Audio Visual, Video Conferencing, WIFI, Networking, Client Computing & Data. Knowledge of centre solutions such as Avaya, Microsoft, Crestron, Extron, Poly, CISCO, Huawei, Yealink, Audio Codes, HP, Dell, VMware. Achieved a target performance of more than 75% over the past three years. Existing client base. Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate level or higher; Excel proficiency is important. Strong negotiating and persuasion skills. Polite and compassionate without lacking confidence. Strong interpersonal skills – good relationship‑building characteristics with clients, suppliers, and team members. Good communication skills. Deadline‑driven. Accurate and attention to detail.
