About the team: The Client Operations Team is a client servicing team based in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, USA, Germany and the United Kingdom. The team works closely with the strategic client relationship team in the client servicing of a designated set of clients, invested via an Investment Management Agreement or equivalent. This is dependent on the complexity and demands of each client, to ensure that pro-active high-quality service is delivered. Responsibilities: Liaise professionally with clients (new clients, restructures, performance, off-market trade queries, etc.) Be effective at query management and resolution Collaborate cross-functionally with Investment Operations, Client Directors, Portfolio Managers, Performance & attribution, Dealing, Implementations, Finance, Fund Operations Perform ongoing KYC of clients Effective liaison with back-office administrators Provide information/support to Client Directors Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records Identify inefficiencies in processes Actively contribute to ad hoc projects aimed at streamlining processes You should consider applying if you have: B Comm / B Bus Sci or other similar degree with 3 - 5 years investment management industry experience, preferably in a role with exposure to asset management or financial services clients Client relationship management experience in the investment management industry, essential Financial market knowledge (instruments and products) Financial accounting experience Proficiency in advanced MS Excel Power Automate, Power BI, SQL or similar would be advantageous Experience leveraging AI platforms (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to improve efficiency and decision-making would be beneficial Some of the attributes we look for in a person are: A client focused and collaborative mindset A strong belief in doing the right thing The ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships Intellectual curiosity, motivated by achieving meaningful outcomes Ambition, balanced with decency and humanity Ability to analyse, interpret and assimilate information
