We are currently searching for a Cloud Solution Architect, specialising in Microsoft Teams, to join our clients team in South Africa. Role Overview This is a customer-facing, delivery-focused technical role responsible for designing, migrating, administering, and optimizing Microsoft Teams collaboration and communications solutions. The CSA partners with enterprise customers to modernize collaboration platforms, enable Teams Phone, deploy Teams Apps and Agents, and drive secure, scalable, and well-governed Microsoft Teams environments. The role combines deep Teams architecture expertise, migration advisory, and operational excellence aligned to business productivity outcomes. Key Responsibilities Design and architect Microsoft Teams solutions aligned with customer collaboration, communication, and business requirements. Define scalable, secure, and resilient Teams architectures including governance, lifecycle management, and integration with Microsoft 365 services. Ensure solutions align with Microsoft best practices for security, performance, compliance, and user experience. Migration & Modernization Lead Microsoft Teams migration initiatives including chat, channels, meetings, telephony, and workloads from legacy platforms. Plan and execute migration strategies covering assessment, remediation, migration, and post-migration optimization. Guide customers on adopting modern Teams capabilities and retiring legacy collaboration and telephony solutions. Teams Administration & Governance Design and implement Teams administration and governance models including policies, lifecycle management, access controls, and compliance. Support tenant-level administration including Teams policies, calling policies, meeting policies, and app governance. Enable secure and compliant collaboration across enterprise environments. Architect and deploy Teams Phone solutions including PSTN connectivity, calling plans, Operator Connect, and Direct Routing. Design enterprise voice architectures supporting reliability, quality, and regulatory requirements. Support customers with Teams Phone adoption, optimization, and operational readiness. Teams Apps & Agents Design, deploy, and govern Teams Apps, bots, and agents aligned with business processes and productivity scenarios. Enable integration of custom and third-party Teams Apps while maintaining enterprise security and governance. Guide customers on leveraging Teams extensibility and automation to enhance collaboration experiences. Technical Advisory & Delivery Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer IT leadership, collaboration architects, and business stakeholders. Lead architecture design sessions, technical workshops, proof‑of‑concepts, and remediation engagements. Troubleshoot complex Teams, telephony, performance, security, and integration challenges. Deliver technical guidance aligned to customer success plans and adoption goals. Enablement & Knowledge Transfer Provide technical training, mentoring, and best‑practice guidance to IT administrators, support teams, and business users. Enable adoption of modern collaboration, communications, and automation practices using Microsoft Teams. Stay current with Microsoft Teams, Modern Work platform updates, and collaboration innovations. Required Qualifications Technical Expertise Proven experience designing and delivering Microsoft Teams solutions in enterprise environments. Strong experience with Teams migrations, administration, governance, and optimization. Hands‑on expertise with Teams Phone, PSTN connectivity models, and enterprise voice architectures. Experience with Teams Apps, bots, and agents. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Microsoft certifications preferred, including Microsoft Teams Administrator, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, or Modern Work‑related certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
