What You’ll Do You’ll be responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service, and identifying new opportunities for revenue and partnership growth. Key responsibilities include: Customer Relationship & Sales Management Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key clients. Conduct regular customer visits and actively seek opportunities to increase revenue. Manage pricing discussions and escape where necessary to ensure competitiveness. Prospect and onboard new accounts to support market share growth. Technical & Market Support Coordinate technical assistance and collaborate with the Servochem lab on projects and reports. Responsible for managing any technical assistance required by customers to further build on partnerships and grow market share. Track market trends, conduct market surveys, and support supplier strategies. Manage supplier portfolios, including visits, pricing discussions, and training/webinars. Operational & Administrative Excellence Submit accurate forecasts and manage customer stock requirements. Support debtors to ensure customers remain within payment terms. Participate in month‑end stock takes. Ensure excellent timekeeping, communication, and adherence to company policies. What You Bring Essential Matric or equivalent qualification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in sales or customer service (advantageous). Excellent time management, prioritisation, and problem‑solving abilities. Experience in the chemical or coatings sector. BSc degree (ideal for technical understanding). Other Requirements Valid driver’s licence.
