Minimum Qualifications Grade 12 Certificate 1 year customs related qualification at NQF Level 3 Knowledge & Experience 10 years import/customs experience in the Clearing and Forwarding Industry, with at least 5 years in a customs framing entry capacity Strong understanding of commercial, transport, carrier, depot and statutory body documentation Working knowledge of international trade principles and the Customs & Excise Act Familiarity with INCO terms, carrier and depot conditions of trade Principles of duty calculation and tariffing Awareness of national currencies and international codes Computer literacy and excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills Client‑oriented, accurate, methodical, and able to handle pressure with attention to detail Advantageous Attributes Customer service orientation with ability to manage demanding environments Effective problem solving and decision making skills Dynamic self‑starter who works independently under pressure Team player with strong communication skills Adaptability in a constantly changing environment Key Responsibilities Processing customs and statutory body documents required for clearance Auditing products against customs and statutory body requirements Ensuring compliance with the quality management system #J-18808-Ljbffr
