GLS Supply Chain Equipment is looking for a strong BI Developer to join their team. This is a permanent, on-site role based in Kraaifontein, Cape Town. Role Description The role transforms raw business data into meaningful, visual insights through reports and dashboards. The role ensures data integrity, performance optimization, and effective visualization to support business decision-making. Working closely with the BI Lead and other departments, the BI Developer contributes to a data-driven culture and continuous improvement of reporting systems. Key Responsibilities Builds and maintains reports, dashboards, and data models (Power BI, Excel, DevExpress). Validates data accuracy and performs updates to underlying queries or datasets. Works with business users to interpret requirements and deliver actionable insights. Optimizes queries and report performance (T‑SQL). Documents report logic, sources, and dependencies. Key Requirements / Experience 2 + years working experience: Writing MS SQL Server database queries and optimisation (T‑SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, etc.) Creating and maintaining reports (PowerBI, DevExpress, SSRS, etc) Working with Excel documents Debugging on Microsoft SQL Server The following would be advantageous: DevExpress Reports and / or Dashboards Source control systems such as Git Web Development (HTML, CSS) Debugging on Visual Studio Any experience with financial systems / data #J-18808-Ljbffr
