A post‑graduate qualification will be an added advantage. 3–5 years’ experience at functional level in Financial, Economics or Statistics. Valid driver’s licence. Duties Provide public finance support services to provincial departments. Give guidance and input on the formulation and implementation of budget policy for the MTEF budget process. Monitor, evaluate and analyse departments’ spending of the approved budget. Conduct performance management reviews of goods and services and compensation of employees aimed towards outcomes, impact and value for money in terms of productivity gains. Provide guidance and inputs on the formulation and implementation of adjustment budgets. Provide strategic and technical support to sector departments services.
