A leading manufacturing organisation is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Cost Accountant/Financial Analyst to take full ownership and run the production costing function, join their financial team and drive reporting, cost control and financial insights. Location: Pretoria East Key Responsibilities Taking full responsibility for running the complete cost accounting and financial analysis function in our high-volume brick manufacturing plant Delivering financial/cost analysis to support business performance The interpretation of results to provide actionable insights Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities, as well as operational efficiencies Prepare business valuations and financial modelling Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Building financial reports that give clear business insights Finalise and report on monthly costing reports Collate, analyse and report on vehicle fleet costs Assist with inter-company cost allocation and reconciliation Evaluate and implement internal controls to shift towards digitisation of finance operations Job Experience and Skills Required BCom Accounting/Management Accounting or Finance Degree Completed SAICA/SAIPA or CIMA articles Minimum 5 years post-articles experience in manufacturing/production costing A professional designation would be advantageous: AGA(SA), PA(SA), CA(SA) or CGMA Strong proven experience in financial analysis, not only financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines Fluent Afrikaans speaker (essential must communicate effectively with operational and management teams) What We Offer Stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established major manufacturer in Pretoria East.
