About The Role We're looking for a proactive Cloud Project Engineer to join our Professional Services Cloud Team. You will deliver Microsoft 365 and Azure projects end‑to‑end, from build to handover, working closely with Project Managers, senior engineers, and clients across a wide range of industries. What You'll Be Doing Deliver Microsoft 365 and Azure work packages, including build, configuration, testing, and client handover Implement and support Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and M365 security/compliance features Configure Intune policies, device onboarding, app deployments, and endpoint management Integrate third‑party SaaS applications with Entra ID (SSO using SAML/OIDC) Support Azure IaaS: VMs, identity integration, networking basics, backup, and monitoring Work confidently with MSP tooling (RMM, EDR, email security, cloud backups) Produce high‑quality documentation - build notes, asbuilts, handovers Solve unfamiliar technical problems using vendor documentation, structured troubleshooting, and critical thinking Engage directly with clients in workshops, technical discussions, and solution walkthroughs Some project work will occasionally require planned out‑of‑hours activity (e.g., cutovers or migrations). This will always be scheduled with notice. What You'll Bring (2‑5 Years Experience) Hands‑on experience delivering Microsoft 365 projects in a Professional Services or MSP environment Strong knowledge across Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Exchange Online, and M365 security Experience with M365 migrations (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, endpoints) Solid troubleshooting across identity, collaboration, and endpoint services Working knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, Entra Connect Exposure to Azure IaaS fundamentals (VMs, networking, storage, monitoring) Ability to break down unfamiliar technologies and deliver solutions by researching documentation Experience using MSP tools such as ConnectWise Automate (RMM), SentinelOne (EDR), Barracuda/Acronis backup or similar Clear written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences Minimum Qualifications Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (or equivalent experience) Desirable AZ104 Azure Administrator Associate AZ305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert What You'll Love About Working Here Work on diverse, impactful cloud projects Join a collaborative team led by an experienced Cloud Lead Gain exposure to new technologies, tools, and complex client environments Build your cloud career with ongoing development and support A culture of ownership, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement Job Expectations Location: Cape Town, South Africa.
