We are looking for an experienced FMCG Store Manager to take full ownership of a busy retail operation. This role is ideal for someone who is hands‑on, highly organised, commercially aware, and confident leading from the front in a fast‑paced environment. You will be the keyholder and face of the store, responsible for daily operations, staff performance, customer experience, and overall store success. The Role You will take full ownership of the daily operation of a busy FMCG retail store, ensuring every department performs efficiently while delivering exceptional service standards and strong commercial results. This is a floor‑presence role where visibility, leadership, urgency, and accountability are essential. Responsibilities Full store oversight across all departments Shift management and structured daily floor walks Enforcing operational standards, policies, and procedures Staff management, scheduling, discipline, and team development Buying, stock control, and inventory management Liaising with suppliers and sales representatives Driving turnover, profitability, and customer satisfaction Managing shrinkage, wastage, and operational controls Ensuring a world‑class customer experience at all times Leading by example and maintaining high energy on the floor Requirements Minimum 3–5 years’ Store Management experience within FMCG / grocery retail Experience within major retail grocery environments Strong operational and floor management ability Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage large teams Excellent stock control and commercial understanding Hands‑on leadership style with strong accountability Matric essential Retail Management qualification advantageous Valid driver’s licence and own transport essential We are looking for a retailer at heart — someone who understands urgency, standards, service, and leadership from the ground up. #J-18808-Ljbffr
