What You Bring Hospitality qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience in Groups and Conferencing within a 4 or 5-star hotel Experience in hotel reservations, front office or event coordination Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera (essential) Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong email and telephone etiquette Detail-oriented with exceptional multitasking ability Fluency in English (additional languages advantageous) Strong planning, organising and administration skills Critical thinking and conflict management skills Flexible availability for weekends, public holidays and evenings What You Will Do Handle all group enquiries and bookings including corporate, weddings, tours and conferences Liaise with clients to understand event needs and provide tailored proposals Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth event execution Prepare function sheets and itineraries for all events Follow up post-event for feedback and ongoing relationship building Manage FIT reservations and ensure personalised service for high-end guests Collaborate with travel agents and tour operators Maintain up-to-date records of guest preferences, repeat visitors and VIPs Resolve booking concerns, cancellations, no-shows and rebookings professionally Allocate payments and complete daily banking
