Role Purpose Momentum Health is looking for an Intermediate Cloud & Systems Support Engineer to join the ICT infrastructure and cloud support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and monitoring cloud and enterprise infrastructure services within a Microsoft Azure environment. The role focuses primarily on cloud operations, Microsoft technologies, infrastructure support, and end-user assistance to ensure high availability, stability, and performance of ICT services across the business. The ideal candidate should have solid troubleshooting skills, hands‑on Microsoft cloud experience, and the ability to support both infrastructure platforms and business users in a professional enterprise environment. Requirements Matric / Grade 12 qualification. Relevant IT qualification or diploma is essential. Valid Driver’s License is essential. Minimum 2 – 4 years’ experience in cloud and infrastructure support. Working knowledge and experience within Microsoft Azure environments and cloud services. Microsoft Azure certification is essential (AZ-900 minimum requirement). Experience supporting Microsoft enterprise technologies including: Microsoft 365 / Office 365 SharePoint Online OneDrive Active Directory / Azure AD Windows Server Exchange Online Experience troubleshooting and supporting: Cloud infrastructure Networks and connectivity Data centre services Storage and backup solutions Security administration and monitoring Understanding of infrastructure support within a medium-sized enterprise ICT environment. Advantageous Skills Additional Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or MS-102 will be advantageous. Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation. Experience with endpoint management and monitoring tools. Experience with other cloud services (AWS etc) Duties and Responsibilities Provide operational support and administration within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, systems, and services to ensure optimal performance and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, server, cloud, and connectivity-related incidents. Provide second-line technical support to end users and business stakeholders. Support and administer: Microsoft Azure services Microsoft 365 / Office 365 SharePoint Online and OneDrive Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Windows Server environments Exchange Online Assist with user access management, permissions, and security administration. Support backup, storage, monitoring, and security services. Participate in system upgrades, patching, maintenance, and operational tasks. Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated infrastructure issues. Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
