Job Description The Senior Credit Executive at Aramex is responsible for managing the credit control function within the Accounting and Finance team. The role involves assessing credit risks, managing customer credit accounts, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. The Senior Credit Executive will work closely with sales and finance teams to ensure a balanced approach to credit management, minimize financial risk, and contribute to the company’s overall financial health. Responsibilities Responsible for daily collections. Capture bank statements to SAP daily. Obtain customer satisfaction regarding timely delivery of statements and invoices. Send Excel reports to customers. Manage collection plans to optimize targets. Send monthly account balance confirmations to customers. Hold scheduled meetings with CRM on defaulting customers; compile minutes with responsible persons and deadlines. Report the top 20 accounts overdue over 30 days and email Credit & Branch Managers weekly. Maintain a spreadsheet for tracking freight, V&D shipments, invoicing and payments. Monitor and act on accounts overdue 30 days and beyond per AR collection process. Ensure all unallocated receipts are reconciled daily. Monitor unallocated credits. Compile monthly reports and respond to deadlines. Send reminder letters to defaulting customers. Resolve all queries promptly. Maintain all accounts per payment terms and credit reviews. Allocate all payments accurately on customer accounts. Follow credit control procedures and meet targets. Adhere to all policies and documented procedures. Update customer information on Salesforce and SAP. Provide monthly reporting: overdue, commitments, daily targets versus achieved. Visit customers to discuss overdue accounts and payment arrangements. Requirements BCom degree or similar qualification. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a full credit control function. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent reconciliation skills. Minimum 2 years SAP experience (optional). Microsoft Excel & Word proficiency.
