Safari JOBS is searching for an Operational Stock Controller to join an award‑winning safari hospitality group. The main role is to maintain the supply and demand of inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and quality while supporting guests within a protected wildlife area. Responsibilities Report to the Finance Administrator. Set and control the stock count process and procedures for all inventories. Enter inventory data and counts into the computer system. Ensure inventory data accuracy through spot checks, weekly inventory checks, and stock rotation on fridges. Conduct variance investigations and produce reports. Oversee issues in various operational areas. Manage purchasing orders for incoming equipment, services, and supplies. Place orders based on par stock levels and identified needs for new items. Verify receipts and confirm purchase contents and orders are complete. Prevent overstocking and over‑ordering. Track and maintain inventory and supplies that require restocking. Confirm deliveries are received. Compile reports on inventory and supply balances. Audit stock‑holding areas to ensure procedures are followed. Perform other tasks as reasonably requested by the business or operation. Qualifications and Experience Clear criminal record. Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills. Second language proficiency is preferable. Excellent employment track record; references will be checked. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Advanced Excel). South African national, expatriate with citizenship, or valid working visa. Valid driver’s licence. High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is advantageous. Minimum 2 years of experience as a stock controller, receiver, or in a related position. Goal‑oriented, organized team player with strong problem‑analysis and strategic planning skills. Physical stamina, flexibility, and strength. Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with management and staff at all levels. Benefits Monthly remuneration: CTC package NEG. DOE.
