What You’ll Be Doing Installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting user workstations and laptops on company infrastructure. Ensuring correct software is loaded onto a user’s machine before delivery. Using Intune, understanding its processes and general functionality. Providing front‑line desktop support via chat or Jira Service Management tickets. Troubleshooting problems via Teams, in‑person or remote‑desktop technologies. Monitoring company infrastructure and escalating alerts on Grafana, Kibana and Nagios. Managing Office365, on‑prem and Exchange365 environments. Administering MicrosoftEntra and Active Directory. Managing user rights via group membership changes in Active Directory and Entra. Supporting corporate and call‑centre applications, troubleshooting and escalating issues. Diagnosing and repairing hardware problems and replacing hardware parts. Managing printers, networks, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, hard drives and laptop internals. Possessing good knowledge of Dell products. Being a keen learner who applies new technologies and methods as they become available. Essential Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly. Experience working collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a track record of on‑time delivery. Exceptional attention to detail and high quality standards. Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities. IT qualification in A+ and AZ‑900. Minimum of two years’ experience in IT, preferably in a desktop support environment. Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle. Availability to work shifts. Desirable Skills Further qualifications in MCSE, N+ or Intune or Azure. Experience in system monitoring.
