Duties & Responsibilities Are you detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring financial accuracy? My client is seeking a diligent Credit Controller to join their dynamic team. As a Credit Controller, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of their operations. This position is based in Cape Town Northern Suburbs. Transaction Matching: Verify and match statements to ensure accuracy.Thoroughly audit supporting documents for completeness and correctness. Documentation Management: Receive and process credit card statements.Ensure all transactions are properly supported with documentation. Payment Processing: Conduct card swiping only for fully matched invoices on hand. Customer Engagement: Proactively communicate with clients to address queries and ensure satisfaction.Deliver invoices with accompanying spreadsheets weekly to enhance transparency. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on outstanding orders and queries for management review.Monitor and maintain age analysis to track payment timelines. Effective Communication: Maintain courteous and respectful communication with internal and external stakeholders.Attend client meetings regularly to foster strong relationships. Risk Management: Identify and report key risk areas to management for proactive solutions.Dispute fraudulent charges promptly with card companies to safeguard finances. Flexible Support: Assist colleagues and undertake adhoc tasks as assigned by management.Allocate payments accurately and investigate unallocated receipts for resolution. Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy in database entries and raise concerns for any discrepancies. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed Credit Management or Finance related qualification is advantageous. Travel industry experience will be advantageous.
