Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric Certificate. Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Mining or a related field. Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) will be advantageous. Minimum of 10 years experience working as a Project Manager within the mining industry. Proven experience managing large-scale mining, construction, infrastructure, or underground projects. Strong understanding of mining operations, project lifecycle management, and construction methodologies. Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations within the mining sector. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and stakeholders. Computer literacy in MS Office Suite and project management software. Willingness to work on-site in Limpopo for the duration of the contract. Roles and Responsibilities: Manage and oversee mining-related projects from initiation to completion. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budget constraints. Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary. Ensure compliance with mine health and safety standards, company policies, and legal requirements. Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings to ensure operational efficiency. Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns. Ensure quality control measures are maintained throughout all project phases. Manage procurement processes and ensure availability of project materials and equipment. Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational performance.
