As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking a Finance Controller to lead the financial operations of a multinational trading and distribution business. Company and Job Description Reporting directly to the Country Head (Kenya) and the Group CFO, the Finance Controller will oversee the full finance function, providing strategic financial leadership and analytical insight to enable sound business decisions. The successful incumbent will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting business expansion. Key Responsibilities Develop financial strategies, including risk minimisation and opportunity forecasting. Oversee high‑level financial reporting, analysis, and management of information systems (MIS). Lead budget consolidation and manage cash flow and treasury operations, including banking relationships. Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with statutory and financial regulations. Drive cost efficiency and continuous process improvement across the business. Manage debt collection, tax submissions, and finalisation of financial statements. Provide investment insights and support major commercial decisions. Partner with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic business goals. Job Experience and Skills Required Chartered Accountant (India) qualification required. 5–6 years post‑qualification experience. Strong background in banking and treasury operations with experience working with leading banks in Kenya. Experience within the trading and distribution industries is highly preferred; manufacturing experience will also be considered. Exposure to SAP is an advantage. Why Join?
