Direct report to the Managing Director South Africa Responsible for leading and transforming the Parts business to achieve strategic goals, drive profitability, and ensure operational excellence. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the sales of Parts to Dealers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Developing the sales strategy to increase the sales of parts and attachments within our dealer network, to ensure this strategy is shared within the business. Work closely with the Machine Sales team and Aftersales team to implement the strategy and successfully drive any sales initiatives to ensure future business growth and development. To liaise and report on department activity with weekly reports and meetings with the Parts Manager. To push the development of every dealer's parts sales and help them to achieve the best possible results, to meet the needs of your dealers elevation plan within the designated sales area. Close working with dealers to ensure they stock the right levels of parts and attachments and manage their orders to be able to optimally support the end customers with genuine Manitou parts. To communicate with Dealers, the current progress and results of the parts master challenge to ensure dealers are given every opportunity to fully succeed in growing their business and getting the full benefits of the system. To attend dealer open days and training events. To offer parts systems training regularly. To be involved with creating campaigns with the marketing team. To cover some admin duties in the MSA office when required. Develop with the Parts department the parts sales in the area, analyzing the potential need by Geographies, and optimizing the sales vs. the machine fleet in the area. Pushes the sales of options and attachments. Answers to the price and delivery time requirements. Establish sales offers. Follow up on special orders. Conduct market research to assess demand, pricing, and competitive landscape. Manages the requests from the networks to return to old stock. Ensures and supports necessary sales support tool development in cooperation with different departments and stakeholders Regularly visit Dealers EDUCATION Minimum of a Tertiary Qualification EXPERIENCE 10+ years of experience in a similar position with at least 2-3 years managing a Dealer activity. Operational experience ideally in the equipment market with very good knowledge about competitors and major clients. COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS Good communication, organisational, and good IT skills. Able to work under own initiative. Knowledge of managing dealers Ability to work within a friendly, personable but purposeful team. Open, honest, hardworking team player of high integrity and able to communicate effectively both internally and externally. Technical business understanding; especially in mining industry Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
