The FAIS Ombud Graduate Recruitment Programme is a structured 12-month graduate programme designed to develop competent trainee entrants into the labour market. Successful candidates will work under dedicated mentors within the Case Management/Adjudication Department and receive competency-based training in dispute resolution, stakeholder engagement, case evaluation, and adjudication processes within the financial services sector. Responsibilities Facilitate fair negotiations and settlements in dispute resolution Engage respectfully with stakeholders involved in cases Analyse evidence and arguments objectively during case evaluation Adjudicate cases efficiently and manage workload effectively Maintain confidentiality and security of case information Ensure fairness, impartiality, and ethical decision-making Communicate rulings and legal concepts clearly Participate in mentorship and competency‑based training programmes Qualifications South African citizen with a valid South African ID documentLLB degree PLT (Practical Legal Training) will be an advantage Strong academic background Passion for public service and interest in the financial sector Able to work in a stressful environment and willing to work extra hours Energetic, self-driven, and deadline-driven Hiring organization Employment Type: Internship #J-18808-Ljbffr
