Company: Tuning Fork Pty Ltd Reporting To: Financial Manager Availability: Immediate Position Overview Assisting the Financial Manager and Financial Director with the day-to-day activities for Tuning Fork Pty Ltd. Preparing financial reporting for the company and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and control procedures. Job Description Reporting Actively participating in the month end close process including processing of period end journals. Prepare flash reports, monthly management accounts and accounting pack to agreed timelines. Preparation of quarterly Audit committee and Board Reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards i.e. IFRS etc. Control Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure that it is produced as per agreed timelines. Ensure accuracy, correctness and completeness of financial data. Budgets & Forecasting Assist Financial Director with preparation of annual budgets, in line with the business strategy and aligned with group requirements. Business Support Work closely with other departments within the business to add value and financial expertise to operational decisions. Payments Review monthly creditors reconciliations. Review and authorise payments to suppliers – local and foreign. Minimum Requirements SAIPA registered would be an advantage. Minimum Experience 2 – 3 years’ experience in a financial accountant position. Competencies In depth knowledge of IFRS, Tax Act and the Companies Act. Excellent people management skills. Professional. Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent business judgement, analytical, and decision-making skills.
