Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the manufacturing industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Millwright to join their Engineering Department based in Heidelberg, Gauteng. Requirements Trade tested Millwright 3-5 years proven experience as a Millwright General milling and turning experience Knowledge of boilers and air compressors Basic welding, pneumatics and hydraulics Experience in food processing equipment will be an advantage Ability to read machine blueprints Ability to work unsupervised In-depth mechanical skills Troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Analytical skills Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) Ensure the leanest operation Installing and disassembling machinery Repairing and replacing defective machine parts Reading and implementing instructions on assembling machinery Using heavy machinery to move other machinery or parts Communicating with other employees regarding the status of different machinery Ensuring machines work properly Willing and able to work overtime as and when required Experience in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Supervising mechanical workshop staff Providing basic training for employees as needed Evaluating employee performance and providing direction, correction, or additional training to ensure proper maintenance of the machinery Inspecting the assets frequently for signs of damage or wear Effective control of all resources at your disposal Assisting with emergency response and evacuations Overseeing contractors and inspecting completed jobs #J-18808-Ljbffr
