Join OryxAlign as a Network Engineer and play a key role in designing and maintaining enterprise‑grade network infrastructures. What You'll Be Doing Design, deploy, and manage Cisco‑based network solutions, including Meraki and SD‑WAN. Configure and optimise Cisco routers, switches, and wireless controllers. Monitor network performance and proactively address issues. Perform regular network assessments and security audits. Provide Tier 2/3 support for network‑related incidents and service requests. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and compliance standards. Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning. What You'll Bring Proven experience in enterprise network engineering roles. Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies (CCNA/CCNP preferred). Experience with SD‑WAN solutions (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Meraki). Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, NAT). Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark). Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Minimum Qualifications Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent (NQF Level 4) – essential. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience) – preferred. Certifications: CCNA/CCNP (preferred). Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management (advantageous). Experience: 3+ years in networking within MSP or multi‑tenant environments. Hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies and SD‑WAN solutions. Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting). Job Expectations Location: Cape Town, South Africa. Working Model: Office‑based with alignment to CET business hours. Working Hours: Standard Cape Town hours with required overlap with UK/Europe operations. On‑Call: Participation in after‑hours maintenance or incident response rotation as required.
