Our client, a leading financial services group, is looking for a versatile Content & Copywriter to join their dynamic marketing team in Hermanus. In this role, you will be the voice of the brand, blending traditional copywriting with modern content creation to support lead generation and client education across multiple digital and internal channels. Key Responsibilities Multichannel Content Creation: Produce and edit blogs, newsletters, client emails, video scripts, press releases, and PowerPoint presentations. Simplifying Complexity: Translate intricate financial, SARS, and exchange control processes into digestible content for clients. Social Media & Community Management: Monitor and respond to messages on platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn, ensuring active engagement and adherence to community guidelines. Brand & SEO Optimization: Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and incorporates SEO best practices, regulatory disclaimer and risk statements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Advisory, Tax, and Marketing teams to gather technical insights and support campaign launches. Governance: Maintain content calendars and conduct periodic audits to ensure all published material is current and compliant. Requirements Education: A degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in copywriting or content creation, ideally within the financial services sector. Technical Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with proficiency in MS Office and a basic understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce). Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, professional judgment, and the ability to remain calm and "sunny" under pressure.
