Position: Permanent, Full Time Job Purpose The post holder will be responsible for inspection, maintenance and repairs on vehicles, plant and equipment within Aberdeen City Council Fleet workshops and depots. The post holder should work on their own initiative and communicate effectively with the management team and customers. Qualifications City and Guilds Heavy vehicle service and maintenance (9302) or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering Full Current UK Driving Licence Preferably hold a Category C (HGV) Licence Skills Ability to work on own initiative Ability to communicate effectively with customers Applicants must hold a Police Vetting (PVG) membership or be willing to cover the cost of the membership. #J-18808-Ljbffr
