We are looking for a Training Facilitator to support our training and development function, improve the quality of learning and evaluate training programmes for our learners and employees. You will be responsible for developing, facilitating, assessing and producing training programmes within an organization. This role includes not only conducting training sessions, but also developing lesson plans, providing support to learners, overseeing meeting logistics, and measuring the programmes success. Key Responsibilities Conduct and/or coordinate induction assessments that are in line with organisation’s requirements. Ensure employees are properly equipped in training skills to meet business' objectives. Work closely with the senior training officer to provide support in the process of developing and maintaining training programs. Develop best in class assessments of all training (inductions and re-fresher induction). Take accurate and adequate record of training activities and program effectiveness. Monitor training methods and suggest on training areas that need to be improved. Plan and prepare for facilitation of learning programmes. Control learners’ attendance registers as per Record Procedures. General supervision of learners/employees. Issue training material to learners. Assist learners/employees in completing induction assessments. Give feedback and provide opportunities for clarification and explanation concerning the assessments. Avoid and manage possible learning barriers to promote learning efficiency. Avoid overcrowded classes to promote effective learning. Interview staff and managers to assess training needs. Organise in‑house and off‑site activities, like presentations, job simulations and role‑playing exercises. Order instructional material (e.g. eBooks and manuals). Enrich courses with visual aids to engage trainees. Measure outcomes from trainings. Research and recommend improvements or new programs and learning equipment (e.g. platforms and projectors). Ensure new hires undertake mandatory trainings on health and safety practices. Maintain training records (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets, training matrix, SAGE 300 report training, data compliance and document control). Submit reports on training activities and results. Recommend improvements or new programmes. Qualifications Grade 12 (required). Minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Occupationally Directed Education, Training, and Development Practices (ODETDP) and Human Resources Management (HRM), Human Resources Development (HRD) or equivalent. Accredited SDF or Facilitator, Assessor & Moderator (desired). Minimum 5 years working experience in training and office environment. Proven track record of delivering a full learning development cycle within an organisation. Knowledge of MS Office skills (required) and LMS (desired). Previous experience as a Training Facilitator, Training Coordinator or similar role. Hands‑on experience with Learning Management Software (LMS). Knowledge of traditional and modern educational techniques. Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate). Familiarity with Talent Management and career paths. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Technical Competencies Proven experience as a Training or Office Administrator. Experience in project management. Knowledge of office procedures and billing. Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of databases. Provide support to Learning Management Systems (LMS).
