This role is responsible for maximising collection success rates by optimising payment processes, tracking strategies, and pay-day management initiatives while reducing operational costs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across collections and payment operations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor collections and payment performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Analyse data and provide insights to support business decisions. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Test and optimise collection strategies to improve recovery rates. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Support initiatives that reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. Ensure processes comply with relevant regulations and internal policies. Work closely with Operations, Risk, Finance, Data, and Technology teams. Assist with the implementation of new tools, systems, and automation projects. Present findings and recommendations to management and key stakeholders. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Relevant degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 4 years' experience in collections, payments, financial operations, or a similar analytical environment. Proven experience developing and optimising collection or payment strategies. Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance through data analysis and testing. Experience within a financial services, lending, credit, or payments environment is advantageous. Skills: Advanced SQL proficiency. Strong experience with reporting and business intelligence tools. Experience working with large datasets and data-driven decision-making. Exposure to APIs, data integrations, and payment systems. Basic Python knowledge advantageous. Experience working within Agile environments and familiarity with project management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Commercially minded with a continuous improvement mindset.
