Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) preferred. Valid Code 10 Driver's Licence. Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP/PrDP). Minimum 35 years' experience driving an 8-ton truck. Sound knowledge of road traffic regulations and transport legislation. Good knowledge of local and regional routes. Contactable employment references. Physically fit and able to assist with loading and offloading. Ability to work outdoors and travel long distances when required. Key Responsibilities Safely operate an 8-ton truck for collections and deliveries. Transport goods to customers and suppliers according to scheduled routes. Load and offload goods safely and securely. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete pre-trip checklists. Ensure cargo is properly secured before departure. Maintain accurate delivery notes, trip sheets, and logbooks. Report vehicle defects, accidents, or breakdowns immediately. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
